"This hotel was charming! if you love history and antiques, this is the place for you. The 100+ year old elevator alone is worth booking this hotel. We had a beautiful bay facing view that was great! The room was period antique but not stuffy and the hotel owner Katie showed pride of ownership in all the details."

"The only saving grace at Surfside was the view and staff. The cupboards underneath the sink were broken just hanging off, cupboards above were disgusting, carpets were all torn up, no screen on the patio door to enjoy the sound of the ocean. It took forever to get hot water, broken coffee pot... The Constitution noise was miserable. We booked the ocean front room to celebrate my 60th Birthday and what a horrible let down. The property, room, furniture have been totally let go... Just sad"
