"The cabin was comfortable and enjoyable. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were disappointed in the lack of a usable fireplace and not enough firepits for every cabin to have one. The room was renovated halfway. The bathtub, shower, counters, and sinks were beautiful and new. The cabinetry and especially the refrigerator need to be replaced. The nearby small town was cute and quaint. The walk around DeFuniak Lake was a favorite activity. Everything in the town is closed on Sundays by 2 p.m."

"The stay was just as expected. It did take a little while to check in which I’m not sure why. The room was perfect. I did ask for water upon check out as I was getting on the road for over 5 hours and was given the runaround when I could clearly see bottles of water in the back office. I ended up leaving without."
