Very disappointing stay with issues throughout. Rooms are outdated and poorly maintained. Pillowcases had stains (we used our own), corners had visible mold buildup that aggravated my asthma, and walls had sticky residue from previous guests. Carpet was coming up, and the shower leaked water onto the floor every time.
The room was locked at 65° and constantly blowing cold air, making it freezing. The TV didn’t work, and maintenance took over an hour to arrive, made noise while my wife slept, and said nothing could be fixed due to hotel settings. We were only offered an extra blanket.
The flamingo habitat could’ve been nice, but guests were blowing cigarette and weed smoke at the birds while staff and security watched. I reported it, but nothing was done.
Staff also gave incorrect info about minibar charges. We were charged an extra $500 in resort fees for Wi-Fi, pool, and amenities, but Wi-Fi only worked on phones with a 2-device limit, and the pool was freezing with unfriendly staff.
Leaving was also frustrating—the parking exit key didn’t work, and we were stuck holding up traffic.
Overall, while it seems cheap and well-located, but in reality it’s stressful, dirty, and poorly managed. Stay somewhere else."
