"The lodge has a great view from the main lodge area. The meals were all buffet style. The room I was in was dated but functional. The main lodge area is the only place for WiFi. The room has a fan but no air conditioning. Service was outstanding. Fair amount of animals nearby. Solid place to stay."

"We loved the lodge - beautiful setting, wonderful staff and good food. They upgraded us to a cabin upon arrival as cabin was available. The gorillas were amazing and starting point just up the road. The lodge is great value for the money in the Ugandan tourism world. You would pay much more to have the same quality accommodations and food in other places. If you have time to get here, this place not to be missed. "

"For the $22 price, it was perfectly fine. They didn't have our reservation when we arrived, but had one very small room left. Didn't shower, so don't know if they had hot water, but electricity was on the entire time. Breakfast was decent: fruit, eggs, real coffee. WiFi in the common area, but quite slow."
