"Mustard Hotel Shimokitazawa was a fantastic home base for our first few nights in Tokyo. The staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and the location is great for those looking to be away from the crowds — Shimokitazawa is a great neighborhood that can at time be busy during the day but gets quiet in the evenings and overnight. The only thing to be aware of is that the rooms are on the small side, but in terms of value they are spot on. The complimentary breakfast at the cafe was fantastic and is a fantastic value."
