Western Suburbs hotel rooms a the Independent

"Everything was good. Reasonable rates. Having and onsite gym would have been great. Sound proof windows would have been perfect to dampen the occasional jet plane engine roars and surrounding bustle and construction noises. Complimentary breakfast was wonderful! Onother nice touch are that all bathrooms are fitted with air vents keeping then dry and mold free! Overall had a pleasent stay with attentive, professional and couteous staff!"

"This is not a place for outsiders. All of the other guests in the (tiny) bunks were poor Indian men on their way to be, say, a guest laborer somewhere (one man showed me his visa to Ghana). Anyway, it was awkward AF, so I powered through a couple nights and then moved next-door to the Afra hostel — still pretty much a local place, but MUCH better, and I even made some new good friends there. Actual showers, a few western toilets, a men's wing, a woman's wing, and a mixed dorm, no hangout space,...
