"Eaglewood Resort and Spa is a beautiful property with well-maintained grounds, attractive common areas, comfortable rooms, and excellent amenities. The golf course and spa were highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, customer service and housekeeping issues prevented the experience from matching the quality of the resort itself.
Our stay got off to a disappointing start at check-in. The front desk employee did not greet our party and immediately informed us that our request for nearby or connecting rooms could not be accommodated without providing an explanation. Thankfully, another front desk employee stepped in, explained the confusion with our room assignments, and provided exceptional service. Throughout our stay, he consistently demonstrated professionalism and hospitality.
Later that evening, we stopped at the front desk to ask about checkout time. The employee on duty was focused on an iPad and speaking with another staff member. Despite seeing us waiting, he never acknowledged us. After several minutes, we asked the bellman instead, and he immediately answered our question. This interaction reinforced our concerns about the lack of consistent customer service. Before leaving, however, we did speak with the front desk manager, who was professional and helpful.
Housekeeping was also disappointing. All three rooms in our group needed dusting, and the bathtubs were dirty. My bathtub contained body hair left by a previous guest. After showing the issue to a housekeeper, she"
