"Lovely rooms and hotel. The bathroom was small. The transfer from train station to hotel which hotel arranged was excessive cost for the 5 minute drive. All staff were friendly and accommodating."

We stayed here with friends and family as a wrap up event behind a full week of travel throughout Sicily visiting all of the major cities & sites, then time in Contessa Entellina for an ancestral pilgrimage. The facilities, pools, beach, spa and staff were all exceptional. "The hotel is a diamond in the rough. Sicily is not geared for tourists but Hotel Conchiglia D'oro is fantastic. James, Rosy, Roberto, Stefania and Antonio could not have been more helpful and accommodating. It is an easy 15 minute walk to Mondello beach which is easily one of the best beaches in Europe. Our room with the balcony is lovely and a great bathroom / shower for Med Europe. Breakfast is solid too. Great place to stay near a great beach."
