"I will be communicating directly with this particular hotel as well as head office. Although the staff were friendly and superficially the facility looked fine, our room was a disaster.
The minor issue was lack of water pressure but the major issue was the disgusting condition of the floors. Without a work of exaggeration I would hazard a guess that the floor in our room hasn't been cleaned in over a year. I have photos of my socks, a couple of my own towels (that I used to ensure my dog's feet were dry when entering the room) that have streaks of dirt that were picked up from the floor.
My dog's have white hair on their paws, they were bathed for a dog show so were clean and white. On 2 occasions their feet got wet from drinking water from their bowls on the floor and as a result ended up with dirt from the floor on the sides of their paws. And oddly I had to pay a pet fee!!
Clearly not a health environment for humans.
I've stayed at many LaQuinta hotels and have never experienced this."
