Western Oregon hotel rooms a the Guesthouse Inns

"Everyone was really nice , they had happy hour or cheese and wine for guest but from 5-6 but they cleaned up before 6 and we were visibly looking for the crackers the gentleman had the plate in his hand lol but other then that all good! Thank you "

"It was comfortable and clean. The only criticism I have is that the website needs to have more info about food/drink. Specifically, it would be helpful to post that there’s coffee in the lobby (since there’s no coffee maker in the room) and that food deliveries can’t be brought up to your door. Small stuff, I know. Overall, I had a lovely stay!"

"Wonderful airport shuttle at 2:15 a.m and front desk so pleasant and made the check-in quick and efficient. The room was clean and perfect. So comfortable! 10/10 would stay again!"

"Appears to be a remodeled older hotel and they did a nice job. Good location. Breakfast is good however, for some reason, the staff serving the breakfast is very loud, slamming warming tray, lids and plates. Stayed there a couple of days in the same thing happens each time."

"Good value for the price. The large king suite had ample living room, bedroom and 1.5 baths. Carpets need replaced as are stained but everything else was neat. The main bathroom was really large. Great view of the bridge, river and marina. Quiet."

"There was not enough parking, even though they gave us a “parking pass” for their lot when we checked in. They had roped off about half of their parking for a Porsche club that was going to be coming the next day - but as of the next day at noon when we left, no Porsches were there yet. So seemed silly we couldn’t even park in the parking lot of the hotel we paid to stay overnight at because of it. Also, we called to request extra pillows and about 40 minutes later called again when no one came, and they eventually brought them. Because of this, we were not able to go to sleep until almost midnight. We called in the morning and asked for a late check out, and they said they could not accommodate it."

"I have stayed here several times, but the management has changed since my last stay 5 months ago. I received an email prior to this stay, but nothing described the change in the shuttle service. Because they previously shared a regular shuttle with Embassy Suites, I waited for that vehicle, but was then told they now had a different bus and that I would have to call them for a pickup. I should have been made aware of this ahead of time. I went to the bar to order food to take to my room. One $12 item was charge at $14 and when I asked about it I was told the system had incorrect prices. He cancelled the charge and corrected it. But I'm sure other customers are getting overcharged. The water in the shower was not hot. It was tolerable, but I definitely like to take a hot shower when travelling. On my next trip out of PDX I have booked a different hotel. I hope the Holiday Inn PDX corrects some of these issues. "
