"Even though it's old and a bit rundown, this hotel is safe and affordable. I stay here often. Just make sure you get a remodeled room. Some rooms I've stayed in were very rundown, smelled very strange, and had broken toilets and shower curtains. If you are looking for a bargain, this place is the spot!"

"Very good overall experience here! Loved how close it is to walk to beach (& Haystack Rock). It was comfortable & quiet, had a nice little balcony, & was very clean. Liked soothing sound of courtyard fountain from our balcony. Didn’t like lack of counter space in bathroom or the round sink on top of counter. Bed a little too soft for our preferences. Microwave was too low (floor level)."
