"The KY State Resort Parks ROCK! Kenlake Lodge is well maintained, and the rooms spacious and clean. The staff are super friendly and personable. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the view of the lake is beautiful. The food is quality at super reasonable prices! The booze may not be top shelf but you aren’t paying top shelf! The pool is very nice, large, and clean. KY State Resort Park have a certain charm of simpler times. Not just the furniture, but the quality and hospitality…And, the prices! The park grounds are well-maintained. Disclaimer - I am NOT a state employee! I just appreciate a basic good time on a low budget while not sacrificing space, hospitality, or cleanliness."

"We arrived late at night and the staff was very welcoming. Advised what time breakfast was served and the hours for the pool. The room was very clean and spacious. We had a room with a balcony facing the Ohio River. Highly recommend for families or business travlers as right next to convention center. There is also a bar and restaurant on site but they did close early."

"At such a cheaper rate than the surrounding hotels, I was concerned about the quality. Was pleasantly surprised - while it is an older hotel, it’s been very updated- great staff Even let me borrow a phone charger block when I forgot mine (they do not have usb hook ups) Very pleased and will stay again"
