"Overall, we had a decent stay at the Avi. The pool area was definitely the highlight of our trip. My kids loved the two water slides, and having the bar nearby was a nice touch for the adults. The room was clean to a certain extent, but there were some housekeeping issues that could be improved. The bathroom sink was dirty, the countertop had visible dirt and grime, and the shower curtain appeared to be dirty as well. Those are details that should have been addressed before guests checked in. My biggest concern happened on our last day at the pool. A child wearing a diaper had a fecal accident while going down one of the water slides, leaving feces smeared on the slide before entering the pool. What was concerning was the response. Instead of immediately closing the slide and temporarily closing the affected pool area, the lifeguard slowly walked over and appeared to rinse the slide using pool water while children continued using the slide. I understand accidents happen, and this was not the hotel's fault. However, from a health and sanitation standpoint, I expected the area to be closed and properly sanitized before allowing guests back in. With better attention to room cleanliness and improved handling of sanitation incidents, this could have been a much better experience."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and spacious. We saw them steam cleaning carpet in the rooms that were designated for pets. We had our small dog with us and it was convenient to walk her inside and out. The parking lot was big enough for a trailer. The staff was very friendly and helpful the couple of times that we had questions or asked about amenities. We also enjoyed the swimming pool at this location. Breakfast was adequate but there wasn’t a wide variety of choices. The staff was very good about making sure the selections were available."
