"Possibly our favorite hotel on this trip. Very clean. It’s an older building that hasn’t had a lot of updates, but our room was spacious with lots of character. No AC, but a fan was provided and the windows could be opened all the way. The floor was carpeted, but new semi-disposable slippers were provided. No hygiene concerns. Bathroom was old and small, but everything worked and it was very clean. Staff very friendly, breakfast good."

"The staff were excellent , very polite and helpful The room was very large and comfortable . My only criticism was the AC , not able to cool the room although they were kind enough to provide a portable fan The breakfast was very good , the Bakery next door was handy and a few eating places nearby The bus stop is only 1 minute away and a 10 min walk to a swim park where you can swim in the lake or use the outdoor pools for 6 Euro"

"Our stay at Hotel Bayerischer Hof Lindau was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The hotel's beautiful location on Lake Constance provides breathtaking views and easy access to Lindau's charming old town. The property perfectly blends historic elegance with modern comfort. The staff was warm, professional, and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully appointed, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. We also enjoyed the hotel's relaxing atmosphere and outstanding amenities, which made our stay even more special. What truly sets Hotel Bayerischer Hof Lindau apart is its exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. We felt welcomed and valued throughout our visit. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lindau and look forward to returning in the future. A truly five-star experience in every way!"

"The hotel has a fantastic location right on the lake, and the property itself is certainly unique. However, several practical issues affected our stay. The rooms became very stuffy during the hot summer days, and since there is no air conditioning or fan in the room, it was difficult to cool them down at night. The windows also lack mosquito screens, which makes it hard to leave them open for air circulation. There are not many amenities to speak of, although the breakfast and the restaurant overall are very good and priced accordingly. Overall, while the property has a special charm and a beautiful lakeside setting, we felt that it did not offer particularly good value. We stayed for five days because we had a prepaid arrangement; otherwise, we probably would have moved to a different property. It is a unique place, but for us, three days would have been enough."

"JUFA Hotel Wangen im Allgäu was a clean, nice and modern looking hotel located in a quiet residential part of town with plenty of parking options (there are several parking lots). Next to the hotel there were sports fields (tennis courts and a football pitch) and the area is great for walking. There are several restaurants near the hotel (Asian restaurant, McDonald's, Burger King,...). We had a room with a double bed and a sofa and the size of the room was good. The bathroom was large, beautiful, modern and had a sufficient number of towels. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff were nice and helpful (thank you very much for the customer-oriented approach to guests). The breakfast was buffet style and offered a good selection of food and drinks. The breakfast was tasty. We enjoyed our visit. If we need accommodation in the area again in the future, this hotel will be our first choice."
