Top West Portland Hotel Reviews

The Paramount Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I only stayed for one night. It was very conveniently located to where I needed to be. The hotel seems classy. I love the lobby. The beds were comfortable. It really worked for me.It was a reasonable price at a good location. The downside is parking fee. I guess I don't travel to downtown hotels very often with a car but $80 a night to park my 'oversized' vehicle seems ridiculous. Maybe this is normal but definitely seems excessive"

Holiday Inn Airport - Portland by IHG
8/10 Good
"Price wise was excellent. Location not exactly in Cascade station but close to industrial area. The kids loved the pool and breakfast. We paid extra for the high floor and had the view of Mt Hood."

The Royal Sonesta Portland Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"Large, clean room. Front desk staff helpful. Valet helpful and very prompt."

Holiday Inn Portland West - Hillsboro by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent all around. I want to know what kind of mattress it was also because I got the best sleep that I have had in quite some time. The sheets were very soft and the pillows were amazing because there were so many different kinds so I could find the one that was just perfect for me! The staff was friendly and hopeful. The room was very clean as were the lounge areas! Would definitely stay again"

Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Tigard
10/10 Excellent
"The most family friendly hotel. The staff was very nice and accommodating."

Red Lion Hotel Portland Airport
8/10 Good
"I liked that the hotel was of old construction and wasn't made of particle board like the new ones. I couldn't hear anyone walking in the room above me, doors slamming or what the people in the next room were watching on TV. Being so close to the airport and being far enough off the road I couldn't hear any noise and slept great ! The room was thoroughly cleaned and no complaints in that department. When I booked the room it said on site parking so I was surprised to find a metered parking drop gate that you had to get your ticket and have it validated at the front desk. I only left the property once but you had to do this as you came and went. I left at a different exit that I entered onto a one way and had to go miles to get turned around. It was 10$ to park for the night and I might of just missed this little detail when I booked. The parking lot felt secure and the whole area around the hotel was pretty quiet and not the normal criminal activity you might find in Portland. The linens were my only gripe about the room. They were worn out long ago. Threadbare with holes in my sheets and towels. A pretty insignificant thing to skimp on but kept me from giving an excellent review."

Hyatt House Portland/Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"Kept area and not in the busiest side of downtown. Coffee and restaurant downtown the street, quiet neighborhood. River walk to ride bikes or walk."

Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"All of my of 2 nights 3 days was excellent."

Moxy Portland Downtown
4/10 Poor
"The lobby was amazing & fun, friendly bartender, photo booth & games to play w/energetic music, but when checking in the front staff seemed as if we were bothering him & not friendly at all. The rooms were extremely small, no microwave or a mini fridge and since they don't have a parking lot, you can either park at the lot on Yamhill & 10th or do valet & again that is wxtra money. For how much we spent for our stay there, not worth it. Unfortunately, we would not stay there again."
