"There is ample parking you just have to dodge loads of trash,cigarette butts and dog poop. The room was dingy and it smelt horrible for a non smoking room. The room was very outdated and mismatched. I sat on a chair with a towel on it, that's how dirty it felt ☹️The toilet paper roll kept falling onto the floor, there was some sort of cigarettes in a pack that my puppy found from under the bed and a straw left on the table from a juice box. White drips on the mirror in the foyer and the bathroom and mould in the tub.How was I to feel like this room had been cleaned ?
The breakfast wasn't bad and was as advertised. I could not wait to leave this place. When I checked in the gentleman who checked me in smelt like he had been on a bender and had not showered in days- I was at least 3 feet from him and at least he ate up all my time with his personal stories of how he likes weed and described his sexual orientation.
I can assure you I will not be returning to this hotel even though it's pet friendly."

"Staff was accommodating and breakfast was fresh daily. The room was cleaned however it's over year since my last stay and I must say there are some aspects that needs to be rectified I stayed in the same room as before, and the issues then are the same now."

"We wanted a place for a quiet, relaxing weekend to celebrate our 30th anniversary and the Terrace Suites is exactly what we were looking for. We booked a suite with a jacuzzi and fireplace. The unit is spacious and well-appointed. It was wonderful the soak in the tub, watch the fire and binge Britbox lol. Views from the unit is great, with Lake Nippising in the front and the golf course in the back. We saw no less than 8 deer foraging on the golf course at dusk, which made it even more memorable. Staff at the hotel is attentive and helpful. The nearby town of Callander also has a great restaurant serving the best Caesar salad I've ever had. Definitely would be back the next time we need a quiet getaway."
