"While our room was simple and utilitarian, the lobby/bar stood out as the social focal point for all guests, It is designed for mingling, game playing, and entertainment. The hotel staff were amazingly friendly and engaging, helpful and quick to provide local knowledge. We actually made friends there that we will keep in touch with, thanks to the atmosphere in the hotel that encourages this,"

"Front desk staff were very kind and the check-in/check-out process was smooth and easy. The room itself was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection. My only complaint is that my room was not serviced during one of my nights despite hanging the sign on the door (but it might've been because I left the hotel closer to noon instead of earlier in the morning). Otherwise, I had a fantastic stay and will be returning during my next trip to Halifax."
