"The hotel was good, the pool areas are great. Dinning onsite was a disappointment. Maybe it was an early season issue, most items on the menu weren’t available, portions for the price were way off. despite being one of two tables service was slow. "

"The hotel itself is dated- main hallways and such could use an update. The breakfast was ok, however no bacon only sausage- every other day- meats no there daily. Days with no meat it was homefries and scrambled eggs. Yes there's a waffle maker, cereal, oatmeal, and pastries daily."

Right across the street from beautiful Bass River, this family run hotel is one of my favorite places to stay on the Cape. It's not big and fancy, just a pleasant place to stay and reasonably priced. "Incredible three course breakfasts that showcased Carol's culinary prowess. Lovely period features in the historic Captain Farris House. Plenty to do on Cape Cod. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and pine for the delicious freshly baked cookies. Thank you to Carol, Jeff and colleagues."

"Glad there was a mini fridge with a small freezer! All went well and the room was small but totally adequate. Only complaint was that the AC/Heater was a bit noisy overnight, but I would stay here again-definitely. "
