"The hotel is under renovation, but acceptable. We were not told about the need to reserve parking; you do need to do that at busy times. The attached restaurant was truly appalling the night we used it; avoid at all costs."

"Very nice apartment convenient for local attractions. Walking distance of Whalebone Arch. If, like me, you don’t have a var, it's within walkin distance of supermarket, local tourist bus which goes to all local attractions, including the Abbey. Be aware the loft appartment is up 3 flights of stairs, but once you reach it, it is very quaint and an ideal base. I was there when it was very strong winds and heavy rain, but the flat js very snug and warm so I was pleasantly surprised. Well stocked kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, and the usual appliances. Good stock of pots and pans. A pint of milk in the fridge and a packet if biscuits was a nice touch to greet me. Well presented rooms. Highly recommend this property. Fantastic value for money."

"This was a lovely place to stay. It was close enough that the amenities were close by but far away enough that it was peaceful. We had a good sized room with a modern ensuite bathroom and everything was very clean. Julia and Paul were accommodating and very friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast was a lovely start to the day and plenty of options were available. Parking spaces were available at the front"
