"Comfortable cottage. Easy access to the lake for bird watching, and good base for visiting attractions in area. Comfortable bed. Kitchenette had basics needed to cook, but knives were blunt and most pots had no lids. Vent and heater in bathroom didn't work, so condensation built up inside cottage and thin towels didn't dry. Bright lights just outside cottage stayed on all night and could not be turned off, making it difficult to sleep at times."

"Breakfast was great and having a heated pool was a plus especially when you have kiddos. However our room looked like it hadn’t been dusted and wiped down in idk how long. There was an huge opened chip bag underneath one of the beds. I also don’t think the floors had been vacuumed and haven’t in some time. Staff were really friendly but I just did not feel comfortable in the room/bathroom. The bathroom fan/lights did not have a cover over it so I could see up into the ceiling and could see tons of cobwebs and dust and felt like a bug at anytime would come falling out of it, it basically looked like 2 circle flat lights dangling from a black hole right above your head. The fan/light would also rattle so insanely loud while on, not waking up during a nap or in the middle of the night while someone used the restroom was basically impossible. I can see they are trying to renovate the place and give it more of a modern look which I’m sure anyone can appreciate. "

"Parking ease and safe, room was clean, dryer had the button broken for high and low but it still worked, friendly and kind staff, breakfast was good: buscuits, gravy, eggs, sausages, potatoes, waffles, etc The juice machine was not working properly thou "
