"Overall, our stay was great until the day we left. We have stayed here before for the Tampa Bay comic con event. This time the hotel was under construction and 1 of the four elevators was already down when we arrived. We arrived Thursday before the event and left on Sunday. Sunday was the worst of any hotel stay we have ever had, or close to it. During Sunday another elevator went down and got stuck on the 18th floor. This caused everyone in the hotel problems. It took me an hour (yes, an hour) to get from the 8th floor to the lobby. I was told to tell the staff for some reward points but we just wanted to get out of there at that point. However, everything until that point was great. Even with the construction going on. Many people said they would never return as Sunday was so bad, and it was, but I would give them another chance as the rooms were clean and the free breakfast was also very good. There is also a skybridge that connects to the convention, but my wife uses a walker, and they said it was closed to ada people. However, we used it on Saturday when we left the event and had no problems. So even though Sunday was a nightmare with two elevators down, we would look to stay here again the next time we go to the Tampa Bay comic con."

"Our stay was wonderful. We’re in Florida and extended our trip for the drive through safari. When we arrived at Saddlebrook we felt right at home. The staff was absolutely amazing. I met some awesome guests, as well. We did leave the following day though nothing at fault to the resort however, it truly is only to relax. There’s not much to do other than swim. I wish the best for this place. Any negative review is coming from someone who doesn’t know how to be polite to others or wanted to be pampered like the Ritz. When I called, they came. They were overly pleasant & helpful and most importantly, my kids were super safe there. If you want somewhere the adults can relax and let the kids play while you lay on a beach chair and no one is around you, this is your place! Your kids need to be able to pkay by themselves though."

"Everything was wonderful I really enjoyed the staff super friendly and courteous ***Very grateful for the shuttle being able to take us to nearby stores ***The only draw back was not having a shuttle to the cruise port (I would have paid extra if necessary) it would have been nice if shuttle service from the hotel to the cruise port was available"
