"The property was nice, but Travelocity states that they are pet friendly and that is not accurate, I made the mistake of showing up with my dog, without contacting them in advance (something that I have done many times at hotels that advertise as pet friendly and it has never been a problem) and the room I was in was not a dog room. "There was a nice feel to this hotel. It felt homely with it's creaky wooden stairs and beautiful bannister; when we came in late at night and let ourselves in through the big door with a key and crept up the stairs to our room so we didn't disturb any others, it felt like coming home! The staff were kind and smiley. Everything was simple but very clean and the breakfast was amazing with lots of choice: fresh fruit, yoghurt, meats, smoked salmon, cheeses and breads. A small selection of hot food...
