Waldhotel Tannenhäuschen

4.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (100)
"The basic room is very basic liken to an ibis. A queen bed with two single mattress and a single duvet which doesn’t match the bed. No air con with only a standing fan which doesn’t help if it’s 32 outside. The bathroom is very modern and nice shame the rooms have t been brought to the same standard. It says nothing about the outside pool for nudists only and got turned away (no clothes) was the main reason we come here and couldn’t use as didn’t want to be nude. No mention of this anywhere. Welcome Hotel Wesel

4.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (330)
"Silverfish in the bathroom, it wasn't the cleanest - shabby carpeting and dirt marks around one of the wall paintings. While it was nice to have a large room and balcony, with no kitchen utensils (you have to ask front desk for them) and "green" housekeeping (i.e. they don't want to pay for housekeepers or for new toilet rolls/soap refills) I don't think it justifies the price. Outside soundproofing is good but inside not good. Kept awake by yelling children and thudding from above. The staff...

"Fine. However 25 euro pp for breakfast and 25 euro pp for the (small) wellness seems a bit overdone"

"The owner tended bar and cooked later in the evening. A very friendly and accommodating fellow and we did enjoy the restaurant. We stayed in a room with 3 twin beds that were quite uncomfortable and strange large square pillows. The wifi was not adequate."
