"Do not deal with this lodge. We originally booked 2 nights. Due to terrible circumstances in Sri Lanka, we couldn’t make it on the first night due to flooding and access to the lodge. The next day, the lodge told us again not to go there as it was still not clear and unsafe. Therefore, I requested a refund like the day before because it wasn’t our choice not to visit, but the lodge. Since this, there has been no reply to emails or refund requests to explain. Terrible. "

"The biggest thing that strikes you is the lovely stunning environment and very villa as its gated with 24 hours security. We felt at home. The two caretakers are simply warm helpful and very professional. The neighbours were helpful . I had such a wonderful stay! 🌟 The space itself was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. I felt a warm welcome upon arrival, which instantly made me feel at home. The stunning surroundings were the perfect for a relaxing stay, and every detail was taken care of and clean lovely showers clean.The wall hangings decor amazing. I crecommend this place —it’s a great choice. Thank you for making my trip unforgettable! "

"Staff extremely helpful - ordering transport, giving advice, checking you had everything you needed. This is far away from Kandy which is good if you want quiet and beautiful views. The plunge pool is a nice touch and means you can relax whilst taking in the surroundings. Pickme can be tricky in Kandy with drivers cancelling trips. Or they arrive, cancel you trip and try to renegotiate another price and as not everyone wants to drive that far you can’t be picky. The breakfast at the property was very tasty - English and Sri Lankan options. I had dinner there too. Unfortunately the cut of beef they chose should be slow cooked but it wasn’t and therefore was fatty and chewy. However the curry and rice were very tasty. NB this property does not have a lift and some rooms are up more than 60 steps from the ground floor, which is also up some steps as it is built into the hillside."
