Hotel Herzog Georg is a real gem hidden in rural Germany. The size of room is larger than a standard European room and we were very happy to have 2 large size doubles for my wife and 15 yr old son. H+ Hotel & SPA Friedrichroda
Great breakfast buffet. Nice bar. Excellent spa facilities with indoor pool, 50°/70°/80°/90°C sauna, Serail room, and massage. No A/C can lead to very hot room temperatures on the top floor on a hot summer day. Insufficient parking when hotel is sold out. No obvious option for overflow parking.
