Nice and cosy hotel with very proper rooms. Breakfast is excellent and the hotelemployees are really kind and helpfull towards the guests. Thanks for the pleasant stay!
I think this may have been my favorite out of all the hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms were very modern, but charming, and impeccably clean. Best of all, the beds were very very comfortable (something you rarely find while traveling, so it seemed like an extra nice surprise). We all slept great here.
The rooms alone would win a great review, but on top of that they had a really nice breakfast, included with the room (no additional cost). You eat in a very nice dining room with a restaurant type setting (but you served yourself). There were many options, and all of them were delicious. We left each day, with very full bellies.
The location was good too. There was onsite parking, and the the shops, old town, and post office were just a few minutes walk away.
This hotel was beautiful, and nice, and the staff were always very helpful and courteous (and spoke excellent English when I forgot, and used my native language). We will definitely stay here again, when we are in the area.
Only downside: no elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Minor inconvenience for an otherwise great place.
Helt nyoppusset rom, veldig bra! God frokost og utmerket parkering utenfor hotellet. Litt utenfor selve gamlebyen, men overkommelig å gå til sentrum. Alt i alt var det god verdi for for prisen på
overnattingen!
Good stay in a nice new hotel, although no air con
The hotel is on the hill, so be prepared for steep walking, if not by car. Hotel itself is quite modern, although not suitable for physically impaired persons-many stairs to climb and no ramp. The room was middle sized, good beds, but no air conditioning or fan, which was quite hard to bear in these high summer temperatures as even the night air was hot/window fully open. 2small complimentary bottles of mineral water in room, no tea or coffees, there was some vending machine past the lobby. Breakfast was good and plentiful, variety of pastries, jams, cereals, also eggs scrambled and boiled, ham and cheeses. Good selection of teas. Evening meal possible only in town, which is a shame as they do have the restaurant there, also Irish pub next door was closed. The hotel is near the town centre, where there is a castle and some restaurants and shops. Parking behind hotel was ok. Staff were friendly and helpful.
