Craigvrack Hotel & Restaurant

"Great place for a few nights stay located just 10 minutes from railway station and 5 minutes walking from Pitlochry main street. Our room was super cozy and had everything we needed including coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The in house bar and restaurant were also perfect after hiking all day, I recommended the Curry Lamb, it was excellent. Thank you for a great pleasant stay."

"First time staying in the Scotlands in 3 years and can see the difference the current owners have made in that time. The vast majority of changes have made a positive difference. Some of the corridors feel a bit narrow, especially between the old reception and the current reception area and the dining room feels cramped at times but it’s great to see the outside area from the finding room as that was hidden away in the old set up of the dining room/kitchens. I’m not sure I’d like to be in one of the rooms on the ground floor with constant footfall passing by but I leave that for those who have stayed in these to review. Games room is a nice touch but needs a bit of a refurb as alot of the items look very tired. Staff were friendly and great as always. Think they deserve some uniforms though as can be hard to differentiate between staff and fellow visitors. Some child-friendly plates/cutlery/glasses would be a nice addition for breakfast time but I’m sure most parents, like us, had this with them. Room itself was great and provided us with what we required for our stay. Breakfast was impressive with choice and items being constantly restocked as required. Pool area was enjoyed with the pool being the perfect temperature. Nice to see the steam room has returned and hopefully the sauna will follow at some point. Will happily return to the Scotlands after having a few years trying other establishments and thanks to the staff for making our stay as enjoyable as it was."

"A gem of a little hotel in the most beautiful off the beaten track location. The drive to the hotel is stunning & its location especially as we visited in Autumn is glorious. We stayed for 2 nights in a perfectly appointed 1 bed suite with separate living area. The staff were helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and the meal was very good. My only comment was on breakfast, ok if you want a full breakfast, but I prefer yogurt, fruit etc, which is available if you ask. Would be nice to have some healthier options available."

"Stayed here last year and rooms and decor a bit dated. Welcome surprise to see the rooms have been upgraded and freshly painted. Sadly only spent 1 night but would have gladly spent a few more if had time. Beautiful surroundings and lovely little town to visit"

"First time stay, had the Andrew Hellion room, what a view, bed was fantastic. Breakfast was first class, just had a wonderful time. I was attending the Glenfiddich Piping Championships so it made the stay extra special!"

"Beautiful, quiet location by Loch Tay at the edge of the village. Accommodation is well maintained if a little frayed, the landscaped grounds are really well maintained. The onsite swimming pool and restaurant/bar is useful as there are limited alternatives nearby. Friendly, welcoming staff."

"The hotel was in a very convenient location, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. After a day of bad weather, I was completely exhausted, so I ordered takeout from the Indian restaurant on the ground floor—it was absolutely delicious. The staff were wonderful, and their kindness was truly comforting. Thank you! I can confidently recommend this hotel."
