Very unique, well-maintained Victorian inn. Lovely and very helpful inn keeper, who was on-site when we checked in and out. Coffee and snacks provided and convenience of using and storing food in the kitchen. The Tapestry room which we booked was the only room on the first floor and right next to the dining/sitting rooms. So not as private but the room was well appointed including the bathroom/shower.

We stayed in Room #5, the carriage house, which felt like our own little bungalow separate from the house, and it was lovely. Well appointed with amenities, complimentary snacks, nice and cool (it was hot out!), quiet, and a short walk from all the restaurants and bars. Noelle was a great host and extremely gracious when we accidentally showed up on the wrong date! I didn’t realize I accidentally booked the night prior, but thankfully there was a room available when we showed up a day late for our reservation. Will definitely stay here again and double-check the dates!

The Whitmore Inn was like stepping back to another time. The rooms are decorated in the era the Whitmore was built. But had the conveniences of modern day. Right across the street from the museum & easy walk through town. Great experience!

If you love Victorian living like I do this is a great place to stay. It is very peaceful, tranquil and the house grounds are beautiful. The owner was very kind and accommodating.

Such a beautiful property to stay, very tranquil and peaceful with a lovely courtyard to stay in. We did stay in the loft which does not offer AC and there is only a screen on 1 window. It got uncomfortably hot in there. Would recommend some sort of portable unit or at last a box fan. The kitchen worked great for all the baking I did for an event I was attending in town.
