Excellent
I have not been in Waukegan for a very, very long time. I thought the downtown area were we visited for an event at the Genesse Theater was very nice. I felt it was a safe area, well lit along with a Waukegan Police Officer directing traffic.

Like most places, stay in the nice parts. Downtown looked nice, we were there for a show at the Genesee which was a great venue.

Everything you need is all close by, some walking distance and others just a short drive down the road. Everyone was extremely kind and professional. We definitely want to go back in the future.

Very nice community. Traffic was terrible going to naval base for graduation. There should have been police officers directing traffic. Felt bad for the locals who were going about their daily routine.
