Tolle Lage des Hauses drei Minuten von der Autobahn neben einem malerischen Landschlösschen. Sauberes schönes Zimmer mit großem Bad. Wellness-Bereich war nicht in Betrieb, ich nehme aber an, dass man die Sauna auch für uns geöffnet hätte. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück in einem großzügigen Frühstücksbereich mit mehreren Räumen. "The hotel is conveniently located in the town centre, with parking available in the town square, with 2 x EV charging points. The hotel was not dissimilar to a lot of older hotels with dated decor, and everything worked. However, there was no internet and no water, etc in the room. The room rate was quite acceptable, but we were charged EUR 14 per head for breakfast, which was borderline extortionate for the spread provided. "

"A wonderful stay at this olde worlde charm hotel. Frau Brendel makes one feel most welcome. The hotel is ideally situated diagonally across the road from the impressive basilica, 30metres from bus station and also 30metres from the (helpful) Tourist Office. The breakfast (included in the hotel tariff) was hearty."

"Enjoyed every bit of our stay. The hotel had a great location on the river and close to everything Old Town. Breakfast was one on the best we experienced while traveling throughout Europe and the owners were very responsive and helpful. Felt more like a B&B than a hotel…good thing!"

"Beautiful hotel tucked away from the touristic downtown but still close enough to walk to. The room was clean, comfortable and had a great courtyard view. The restaurant/bar on site was convenient with a descent spread for breakfast. There was parking on site, but you may want to call ahead and reserve a spot if possible."

"The staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, including directions to local attractions and restaurant recommendations. The room was much larger than the typical hotel room one finds in Europe. It's in a great location to explore Bamberg. The breakfast was high quality and sumptuous. And...........at a price less expensive than other properties we stayed at in Germany."

Spacious, clean, and comfortable

"The room was so clean and comfortable! It was warm but the front desk allowed us to borrow fans. It was very spacious. Breakfast was a really great spread. The hotel is very close to town, no more than a 15 minute walk. The only problem I had was I had to have cash to get water and didn’t bring any so I had to run to the store to get water with my card. But other than that it was perfect. It was very accommodating for our dog as well!"
