Beautiful , rustic, charming lodge in the center of the park. Easy access to all sights, great star gazing and reasonably priced. Great staff. Stay here instead if Glacier!

Fantastic view, character, food and staff…. Old hotel, with its challenges, cold, with minimum finish in the rooms…
I loved the unexpected excellent customer service right from the entry to the front gate. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and helpful. Pretty cool history of the place.
Great view as advertised, staff is great, but hotel is super dated. If there is a next time, we’d spend nights at a newer facility and just go to this hotel for the views and tea/coffee/food. Town is very small and hotel is easily accessible from anywhere in town.
Best part of stay was the history and traditional service. Room had limited comforts (rough towels and few electrical outlets, thin walls) & conveniences though bath and bedding updates appreciated. Food, service and of course the views were pleasurable.

Very beautiful scenery helpful staff no tv in room bathroom sink outside the bathroom no usb charger needed to ask for blow dryer
The Prince of Wales hotel has a older rustic aura and is well maintained and well staffed with good food. It does show its age in some ways, but that is not a detriment to its charm.
The Prince of Wales Hotel has real character more than just a place to stay, it feels like a piece of history. The rooms are delightfully old-school, with wooden beams and a warm, welcoming charm that you just don’t get from modern hotels.
The restaurant and bar were impressive with great views of the lake. The atmosphere is cosy, classic and the overall vibe. Highly recommend for atleast once in a lifetime experience.
It's old don't expect modern rooms. No fridge or TVs. But don't let that stop you after all your in the most scenic place in Canada. Highly recommend this hotel as a peice of history in a must stay location

The historical nature of the property was unique and the scenery was outstanding.
Cons -- walls of rooms paper thin, making it noisy.
Checkout was slow, with only one agent.
Food -- ok.
Everything was as expected. It is a historical hotel therefore things like the elevator and some of the other amenities are limited. The view is tremendous. The food was excellent and staff was very attentive and pleasant. I will remember if I go back again that the weather conditions can be pretty extreme. There was a 20 to 45 mile an hour wind blowing for 24 hours straight. It rattled the entire hotel and made our beds shake. It was a unique experience but difficult to sleep during those conditions. The hotel wisely provides earplugs in every room, just in case the wind is too noisy. Funny but I almost used them..
