Preston Park Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Free breakfast included, I slept in though so didn’t go. The room was surprisingly small for one at first but when you get settled in, it’s quite cozy. Luckily, a massive fan was provided during the summer so that’s great. Parking was free, though the car park was very small so you had to be lucky or timely to get a space (I was lucky). The location was a 50 min walk from the sea front or a 10 min drive. Free water was also provided in the room which was very nice."

"Upgraded at last minute to penthouse. Unfortunately the milk had gone off in the fridge and ice tray wasn’t clean, but they hadn’t expected occupancy.Wine and soft drinks very well received but it would have been nice to have had still not sparkling water. King size bed was really comfortable and clean. All rooms impressive apart from chairs at dinning table (little shabby) and no battery in clock in mantel piece. Overall good experience and so glad l upgraded to a much bigger suite."

"I was expecting a basic hotel but it was much better. The staff were polite and helpful, the location is very convenient for Arundel and Littlehampton. There is an electric charging point right next door and a handy garage and McDonalds. The hotel has a bar and it was great to be able to sit outside, it was also good value for drinks. We were there during a heatwave so it was very hot in the rooms although they provided a powerful fan. The rest of the hotel was much cooler and they provided us with glasses of ice when requested!"

"Our room was plenty big enough, and the bathroom was fine. The shower is over the bath, so getting in and out could be a problem if you're older, or not so good at climbing over the edge of it! Air conditioning was great as we had hot weather! Five minute walk to the beach (stony), and a nice 15-20 minute stroll into town. Breakfast was good - cereal and pastries etc, bread etc and/or full English cooked if you wanted it."
