"Lovely spacious and clean room! Modern & well equipped. Great place to stay if you’re visiting Caudwell Children as it’s so close! Lovely cooked breakfast! Large beds."

"The hotel is in a prime position for visiting Buxton or touring the area. We were able to check in a little earlier and quickly sorted the 24hr pass for parking right outside the hotel. It felt very secure. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bathroom had a powerful hot shower and lovely fluffy towels. The room is a little tired and could do with a quick makeover. However it wouldn’t put me off staying again! The breakfast was delicious and the buffet was plentiful. The staff member in the breakfast room was very friendly and made us feel welcome."

"Excellent value for money and what the place lacked in terms of maintenance and upkeep is more than made up for in the range of facilities and friendliness of staff. It’s a huge place to upkeep and would likely swallow £1m to fully renovate and refurbish …so doubtless the owners are hoping for a big lotto win like the rest of us."
