"The owner was super great to work with, ultra responsive and very friendly. The place itself was great, really nice apartment and well stocked with all the things you need to hang out in Anchorage for a day or two, including tea and coffee which were great to have on hand! The decor was nice and the place was quiet, the beds were much more comfortable than I expected, and there was enough space for us to spread out and not trip over each other. "Gracious and helpful staff. Easy check in and check out. Very clean and well-kept room. Affordable for normal people. Reminded me of a place in the old country (Latvia), where families still run businesses (as opposed to faceless corporations). This is a business you should support as a matter of principle. Yes. It's small and not a typical hotel. But these are good people running a good business that actually cares about the customer in the way family-owned businesses used to. Personally, I love the idiosyncrasies. Thanks for a great stay, Qupqugiaq Inn people!"
