Top Washington Square Hotel Reviews

TRYP by Wyndham Savannah Downtown/Historic District

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel was within walking distance ce of the historic area and waterfront. There was no on site parking but a public garage was just across the street and cheap. The front desk staff of Jane ,(evening) and Joel (day) were exceptional. They were very helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Bed were made and towels refreshed daily which is often not the case at many hotels. Definetly eorth five stars."

Thompson Savannah, by Hyatt

8/10 Good

"Very friendly staff and very clean premises and room. However, there was no refrigerator and no comfortable seating in the room. There should be a more broad menu at the rooftop café., But the view and food were great."

Marriott Savannah Riverfront

8/10 Good

"The hotel is nice and situated in walking distance to the downtown/historic area (15 min). The staff were professional and helpful. The room was large and clean. There are areas that show wear, but overall it’s well kept. I gave 4 stars because I was in a room with a balcony into the atrium, which seems really nice until it’s midnight and the noise is carrying all the way up thanks to the acoustics. (The manager offered to move me, but I was leaving the next day.) I would recommend an outside room for that reason. I would stay here again in an outside room. I had dinner the first night in the restaurant. The service was slow and the portions are very small considering what you pay. For example, I ordered a house dinner salad and did a chicken upcharge. I got 6 small slices of egg (maybe half an egg) and half a chicken breast. There was lots of romaine, but the other parts of the salad were scant."
