"The hotel charged me $6 for two small "complementary" bottles of water that were left in my room. Also, there was a large group of youth staying at the hotel at the same time who were very loud and kept waking me up because of the late night noise"

Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel

"If you need to get the Pentagon, this is a prime location with some great views. Rooms were clean and there had been some updates, including a great working table with power supplies and room for 4 people to work in a room if needed. Some updates had been left undone, like rusted bathroom doors, old shower heads, and showers that had limited water pressure. Internet was fine, and restaurant was open until 11:00 p.m., which is a plus. The negatives involved having a personal items either thrown out or removed from my room. This was reported to the front desk, and no one followed-up. As of today, the manager at the front desk knew nothing about the incident, which demonstrates a lack of attention to security. Shuttles are offered to metro (nearest station was closed over the weekend), but only starting at 9:30 a.m., by which time most people are at work or out doing tourist activities. The shuttle only runs once/hour to the airport instead of being available on call. Great if you can hit it, but seems to lack a focus on guests' needs. To reach a metro station, you must walk nearly 3/4 of a mile, hence the need for a more frequent shuttle starting earlier in the day. Some nice amenities, but doubt I would stay again given the need to Uber everywhere and given the lack of attention to security matters."

"A quiet area but close to the capitol and all museums. CitizenM concept fits perfectly for business trips with nice lounge area to work in. Very nice breakfast and bar food too."

"We stayed Memorial Day Weekend, and for some reason, the hotel chose to change all the door locks that Friday. It caused a huge disruption and we ended up needing to go back down to the front desk twice to try to get into our room. The front desk staff was not very friendly when it was busy, but at other times when it wasn’t busy, they were more friendly. The room is small but clean. The elevator is slow and there is basically only one."

"Only stayed one night. The location is not the best but it is brand new and very nice. It was formerly the Mandarin Oriental. It is a very nice hotel."

"First solo trip I took to DC and the stay was great. Staff were there to help with checking in and security was present at the entrance. Room was very clean and cleaning service was excellent. Some say the room was small, but for one person it was more than enough. Definitely recommend it to solo travelers, will be coming back in the future!"

"Good experience overall, as usual, but we were disappointed with the bar closing so early every night. Who closes a bar at 9:30p or 10p even? Regardless, the housekeeping service was top notch, and the breakfast at the restaurant was surpringly worth the price. For a good hotel in DC, the Hamilton is a great value for the money!"
