Very pleased with our stay at the Kimpton Banneker! Great location, walkable neighborhood & friendly staff. Has some really nice amenities…coffee in the lobby in the morning, complimentary happy hour on the pretty patio in the evening, & nice bikes to ride! The rooms are spacious, everything clean, no complaints!

We stayed here as we had an embassy appointment across the street. It was super convenient and we ended up having a couple of meals here as well. Great food and atmosphere. All the staff were wonderful. Spacious room and super clean. Parked a vehicle here also with no issues. Will definitely stay again. Great neighborhood and hotel.

Nice hotel near residential part of the city. Busy and fashionable part of the city is a couple blocks away. Quiet rooms facing the back. Just make sure to ask for coffee maker and ironing board as you check in.

Easy and accessible location to my business meetings in central DC. Vouchers for the bar was a nice touch but missed having coffee facilities in my room and patchy supply of bottled water. I also didn’t understand the Amenity Charge of $34 per day. What was that for really?

I had an excellent stay at the Kimpton Banneker Hotel. We booked a 400 sq ft room with two queen beds and a roll-in shower, and it was surprisingly spacious; comfortable for one adult and three kids. The room had no carpet, which made it feel extra clean, and everything was well maintained. It was also very quiet with great soundproofing, which made a big difference for a restful stay. The staff were outstanding; friendly, responsive, and efficient. The on-site restaurant exceeded expectations; our dinner was delicious, and the cocktails were well made. The waitstaff provided excellent service throughout. Valet service was smooth and quick, and we had no issues at all during our stay. Overall, I would rate everything about this hotel as excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kimpton Banneker. The room was big and everything was clean. The happy hour drinks were a nice surprise. The location was great. We took advantage of the free bicycles to ride down to the Monument. The only cons were that our room was not ready at check in time. We hoped to wait for our room to be available on the rooftop, but were disappointed to discover that it is not open to the public. The pictures on the hotel site and on Expedia show the beautiful rooftop but it is only open for private events.
