The look of the property was exactly as presented. All the amenities were great and the property is in a perfect location. The staff onsite were not helpful at all, as they do not work for any of the vacation rental companies associated with booking, and trying to get any help from whatever rental company that you book through is difficult. You have to call someone in some unknown location and try to find help or put through a request. That can be a little frustrating. However, the property was good enough to offset the few misfortunate issues I had. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We loved the location of this apartment. The rooftop with the pool was probably our favorite spot. It had magnificent views of DC and was relaxing to sit out and enjoy a cocktail. We did have to pay $10 per day to park and there was only 1 key that was given to us which made it very hard if one person wanted to go to the pool while another wanted to go someplace else. You need the key to use the elevator. I think at least 2 keys would be helpful. We also had no set of sheets for the pullout couch when we arrived. It was too late for someone to bring us any so that was disappointing since we payed so much to stay there. The second day someone did come with extra sheets. There is a whole foods right in the apartment building which was extremely helpful!! Be aware that this is not a hotel. Therefore there was only 3 towels for us the whole time, no maid service. If you need anything from bluebird suites there is no one at the apartment building to help you. You are to call an 800 number but someone is only available during regular business hours. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk to the metro within 5 minutes.

Living room tv was on when I walked into the room. It was on Fox News. The entire time there I could not change the channel. Remote worked, but channel never changed. Unplugged and reconnected everything. Nothing changed. Also had to do the same to the bedroom tv but at least I was able to get that to work properly. Also, trash bin user sink was not emptied.

A surprise property - brand new

The hotel were we were placed was not the Bluebird Suites but a nearby brand new apartment hotel that was not easy to find even after we had been given the address through confusing voicemail and email. It may have been an overflow property. It was so new that things like a soap dish in the shower were missing and there was only one towel even though we asked for more. Wi-Fi did not work. The staff did try to accommodate us.
