"Our room was huge and had a king bed, couch/kitchen/living room area, plus a separate room with two sets of bunk beds- perfect for a family with kids! We also had direct access to the outside, so our type of room would be perfect for anyone traveling with pets. Everything was clean and pretty new. The pool isn’t the biggest, but it was heated, and there is also a hot tub and dry sauna. The hot breakfast was great with a nice selection of hot items. My kids liked the mini waffle machine and toppings bar. The coffee was surprisingly decent. And having access to the 24/7 coffee, tea, and filtered water was an added bonus. I also saw other cool extras like dog treats, free games and puzzles, and a little library. I did not use the gym, but it looked pretty nice. The beach is just a short walk away, but we went during the time of the year when you can drive on the beach which was awesome. FYI, I believe the beach driving ends on April 15th until Labor Day. And if you like kites or flying kites, this is the beach for you. "

"The location did not offer a beach view. There are trails behind the property that lead toward the beach, but we were told by another family that the path had been washed out and was very difficult to walk through. The check-in experience could have been better—the staff member lacked hospitality and didn’t make us feel very welcome. Room cleanliness was a major issue. There was noticeable dust on the blinds, bedposts, and even the ceiling. At first, I thought I was getting sick, but it turned out to be my allergies reacting to the dust. Additionally, we were told to wait about twenty minutes before taking a second shower, which was inconvenient. Overall, the stay was disappointing and did not meet expectations."

"The stay was wonderful at Lake Quinalt Lodge. It was a bit of a throwback to simpler times, which was nice. Throughout the day people hung out together in the common room playing games, chatting, or reading as it is very comfortable with ample number of seats. The large lawn in the back towards the lake is also wonderfully used by those staying with families playing ball together or reading in the Adirondak chairs. The view of the lake was great. We were very happy with our stay. The only downside was the staff as they weren't as polished or knowledgeable as I expected of them. They were all very casual in handling our requests/questions. Some housekeeping things were missing which were supplied on request. Hopefully, these little problems will be ironed out by the high season. The restaurant will soon be up and running fully again, which can only mean an improvement. We ate only one breakfast during our 3-night stay (no dinners) and found that meal disappointing. It's not surprising as the chef had to cook out of a tent. I'm sure the food will only improve when the chef has access to a full (and warm) kitchen again. I felt for him working in the cold/cramped conditions he had to work in! We really enjoyed the tour of the Lake Quinault area led by Erik. He was very knowledgeable, informative, and did well educating us about the rainforest, the types of trees, etc. and was delightful to be with. "

"Clean, spacious, and friendly staff. Kitchen was fully stocked with every kitchen gadget you’d ever need. Not every room is identical but room 214 was perfect size for our family of 4; it even has a large deck. Kitchen did not have any spices but I kinda prefer it that way, feels more clean to me without them. Couldn’t make it to the beach from hotel because of significant standing water over the trail, assume you’d be able to make it more towards summer months. "

"The room was very nice and very clean. It had everything we needed for a family getaway to Ocean Shores. We would highly recommend this place. Staff was friendly, internet was fast, the beds were comfortable, and the large TV had plenty of channels for us to watch as a family."
