"The indoor communal areas are attractive and comfortable but a little tired in places and could do with a really good clean. The bedroom that we shared with our dog had the potential to be lovely. It was a classic double in an old part of the hotel but needed some decoration and a good clean. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and coffee splashes on the wall. "The Staff are really helpful & friendly. I only put one less star because the room I was in the heating/air con was not working, I was supplied with a portable heater. Lovely hot shower. Dogs are allowed. Car parking is £5 do ask at reception for the code before paying for the car park. At breakfast there was a reasonable choice."
