"We got there just after 6pm. The place was open but there is no reception, nor was anyone there to greet us and no phone number to call. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. I couldn’t remember if this was a pay at property or if we had prepaid so I asked the guy who told me we owed €75. "This hotel is one that I will definitely return to when I'm in the area. It is modern, clean, comfortable and the staff are very helpful. The room was large, very clean and had all the amenities needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. Breakfast was ample, with a cooked option (scrambled egg and bacon) as well as all the normal continental breakfast items. There are board games available and a pool table, and a couple of comfortable lounges to have a drink if required. If I have a small quibble, it is that there is no lunch or dinner available in the hotel at the weekend, but there are plenty of excellent restaurants a short drive away. All in all, a definite 5 star rating from me."
