"I was traveling through Saarlouis and spent 1 night at the Bahnhof hotel. The staff were very friendly and spoke great English and there was parking right outside the hotel free of charge. However, the room (and entire hotel) is in dire need of renovation. Also, the location is not as central as you’d think – most restaurants and bars are on the opposite side of town (quite a pleasant 20-min walk through the park though). All-in-all, an OK hotel which is just about worth the money. "

"Comfy hotel with parking. But the town is run down and surprisingly scruffy for Germany. Very poor choice of restaurants we ended up back at the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and hotel is dog friendly."

"On arrival, we thought the hotel looked clean, well maintained and welcoming. The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, we were taken to it by a staff member which was nice as most hotels you need to find your own way. The pool area was spotless and very well laid out. The restaurant was super."

"The hotel is easy to reach from the motorway and area feels very safe. The room was generously sized, the only downside was the lack of air-conditioning on a 30+ degree day made falling asleep difficult. The on-site restaurant is over-priced for dinner, but the breakfast in the morning is more than sufficient."

"The bathroom has a bathtub/ shower combo who's width limits stability when showering. I am 76 with a stability problem. I only speak English. All the staff was helpful. A couple had an attitude of i didn't deserve to be there. I only ate the breakfast buffet once and found acceptable food. I am a picky eater."
