We stayed for a quick sleep during our road trip, so we didn’t get to experience any amenities. Our family room was MASSIVE. Two floors, nearly 700 sqft, a shower/bathroom with double sinks, and two large powder rooms with toilet and sink. The hotel and room were older and the furnishings equally so, but everything was very clean and comfortable. Well worth the cost of our room. If we’re in the area, we would definitely stay again.

We had a good time. We were a 20 minute drive from Heidelberg. The hotel is only a few minutes drive from grocery stores and restaurants located across the main road. The indoor pool was nice to use at the end of the day.

We received an email the previous day to say reception would be closed at our arrival time (3pm), giving us access instructions. Not only was reception closed, but the whole place was deserted. An honesty bar was available, but the restaurant was closed. Obviously 3rd January is a quiet time of year, but several other guests did arrive. We didn't have the 19 Euro breakfast. The room was quite small, but was newly decorated, with large TV, good WiFi and comfortable bed. A small bathroom with a shower was also new an modern. I'm sure the hotel has a completely different feel in the summer. It's a stunning building with lots of history.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Leonardo Hotel Heidelberg-Walldorf! The property was spotless and well kept, and every staff member we met was friendly, helpful, and spoke English very well. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and a great start to the day. We booked the family room with two floors and two restrooms, which was perfect for us and our two kids—so much space and super convenient. The area felt safe and pleasantly quiet, and it made an easy base for quick trips to nearby towns. Free parking was the cherry on top. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend this hotel for families looking for comfort, cleanliness, and warm service.

We wanted to see Heidleberg and found the Leonardo an easy place to find, park and relax in at the end of a hot day. Great barman by the pool, friendly staff at breakfast time. Happy staff at reception!

It was a very nice hotel and the room was excellent. The pool and fitness areas were all excellent as well. The only criticism was that the bar was not open at all and the breakfast was very busy. On the whole a very nice hotel and would be very happy to stay again.

Nice hotel but in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing in minibar. No supermarket nearby. Only a vending machine you have to buy something. Or you can eat breakfast or dinner in restaurant of hotel, but it is expensive. A nice swimming pool they have.

Great place to get away from bicycling through the Kraichgau hills. We attended the region’s IRONMAN and therefore the spa facilities and breakfast provided were optimal conditions to prepare ourselves on the race. The scenery in the vicinity is quite ordinary, but nearby cities and monuments are worth seeing and enjoyable.

Nice hotel

Hotel was very nice, but poor vegetarian choice in restaurant. The gemuse curry was Luke warm ….. so a disappointment. However the staff were very pleasant. Also the bar was closed off for some reason. Despite the food the hotel was very nice.
