We have stayed here before and the location is amazing and the exterior and architecture is gorgeous. The terrace is a beautiful spot for a meal or drinks. This stay it was hot (91F) and the air conditioning went out in the first night. No windows are able to open. I asked at 8:30am and was told it was being fixed. We came in from the day at 5 and went to the room where housekeeping had opened the drapes to full sun and the room was baking. I went to the front desk because our phone didn’t work and asked again and was told they would check into it. The halls and lobby were cool. We went to dinner and came back at 9 and it was still blowing hot air. I had to go back down and ask to be moved, which unfortunately meant we had to start packing up when we were ready for bed. This was poor hospitality and service as they never got back to me about the problem I just had to keep returning to the front desk. We were moved to a smaller room although it had a better view.

Great location. Great hotel, very good breakfast .Lovely check in staff. We were fortunate enough to be given an upgrade and goodies for my husband's birthday, such a lovely gesture and much appreciated. It really elevated our trip. Will definitely stay again.
