"I came up from Kent to go to a conference at Magna and chose this as a less expensive option hotel for my stay. Staff were friendly and courteous without exception. The room was basic but well maintained and clean. There was tea and coffee but no water and no mini fridge to keep anything cool. I prefer a fridge as I have injections I have to keep chilled. Luckily, my stay wasn’t longer or this would have been an issue. I managed to lock myself out of the bathroom due to a faulty catch, but staff had someone up in a few minutes. The food was pub grub and a little expensive for what it was. I watched the England match in the bar area, sound on both tv’s was faulty. Each tv having a different fault. Otherwise a pleasant stay."
