"Upon my arrival around 5:30pm there was NO staff on site. In the office I called to check in. They said they had no record of my prepaid reservation; once that was ironed out, they said no one was there to check me in… they assigned me a room number over the phone and told me to take any of the three keys that were on the counter. I took all three. I later found out they opened ANY door. I left for dinner and upon my return realized the tv didn’t work and there was no screen in the window. Finally someone was on site and came up and tried to fix the tv… when I pointed out the window had no screen he said, oh yeah, someone punched it out’. I was not offered a screen or another room.l. I didn’t sleep well knowing keys open any door… I got up early to leave - there was NO hot water so I couldn’t even shower in the morning; there was NO breakfast available as indicated with my reservation. I can’t believe there are any positive reviews for this place… it should not be listed on Expedia, Hotels, or any other site - this is definitely a last-resort motel when you are desperate to get out of a storm when there is absolutely nothing else available."

"We loved our stay at The Milestone. The bedroom-living room combination was perfect for us. Double beds, double sinks, large bathroom and shower. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was certainly a plus. Perfect to start the day. I would highly recommend The Milestone and plan to make another reservation in the fall."
