"We booked the one night stay earlier that day since we weren’t sure where our road trip would take us. We were tired after driving for hours but were wonderfully greeted by the front desk clerk. I believe her name is Danette, but I might be wrong. She was friendly, even let us check out the room before completing the booking (she took us upstairs and we liked and kept the room). She gave us some recommendations on where to eat, which turned out to be just the meal we were looking for. The room was very comfortable. It was clean, basic but all you need furniture and as a commercial interior designer, I liked the whimsey and artsy design and patterns and colors throughout the room/hotel. The only comment to make it better was if management could provide a coffee maker in the room. My partner is a “must have coffee immediately upon awakening”. To counter that comment, I must say, the hosted breakfast was great - good strong coffee, hot oatmeal, eggs and sausage in tortillas and wonderful fresh fruit - strawberries, blueberries and boysenberries (or blackberries) - delicious and generous portions available of everything…much better than some of the hotels with bigger nightly costs that we’ve stayed in the bigger cities around the country. Applause to the breakfast chef and manager. We will definitely return to the Spark Hotel to stay again. We were completely happy with out stay."
"We stayed here 2 years ago and it was a bit dated but clean. This time, new ownership and updated room and lobby---very tasteful and inviting! The host was very accommodating, breakfast items tasty and the room was wonderful--comfortable bed, pillows, new bathroom remodel---highly recommend this to anyone visiting Buffalo!"
"Cleaned comfortable and a pleasant staff. Breakfast could use a lot of improvements, scrambled eggs were floating in water and the sausage looked and tasted like week old. Parking was good."
"Cheap ways to access hotel for a quick night stay. Nothing fancy by any means but was quiet and pretty clean. Hallway floors were pretty stained and everything was a bit out dated but definitely worth the price."
