"We were picked in an agreed time by Awdeh. We were then taken from Wadi Rum guest house by Hasim who was excellent driver. He took us out to all the prime viewing points in the Wadi Rum gor whole day trip. This included generous portions of traditional lunch. The camp is located at a prime spot from where sunset was amazing. The night stay in the camp was amazing. The team at the camp was very nice and looked after us very well. "I had an excellent stay and Wadi Rum experience at Beyond Wadi Rum camp. Everybody who I interacted with - the owner/manager Salman and my guides Abdul and Abdelkarim - where very kind and accommodating. The facilities were great, and I was kindly upgraded to a larger tent with its own bathroom facilities upon arrival as there was availability. The tours around the desert themselves were fantastic and I saw so much of the desert, and had a great time exploring. I would not hesitate to recommend...

"Beautiful position in Wadi Rum - clean tents, great showers and loos, stunning scenery, delicious food morning and evening, prepared in our "campsite" and very friendly, helpful hosts. FANTASTIC place to stay and from where to explore the desert."

"if you are not take that substandart desert tour for 35 JD which is on the way to the camp three stops for a while, you will be told that transfer to camp and back would cost you 50 JD. They say they will take me to the visitor center at 8 am but turn out to be 9 am so I missed one petcisous hour and could not visit Mt Nebo properly."

"The scenery in Wadi Rum is fantastic. The Sand Rose camp is very well located and the staff is welcoming. We had the chance to spend an evening with local residents and we have loved their company and the animation of the event by the staff. For a camp located in the desert, far from any commodities, comfort is acceptable and the food is excellent."

Wild Oryx Camp Bubbles

"We had a fantastic stay at Wild Oryx Camp in Wadi Rum. Our host, Eid, was not only welcoming but also an excellent guide and storyteller. He clearly communicated the agenda, explained our options for excursions, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food was decent, and the camp itself exceeded our expectations. The two domes we stayed in had plenty of space for our group of eight, the bathrooms were clean, and the rooms were air-conditioned, a huge plus in the desert heat. One of the best aspects of Wild Oryx Camp is its location. It’s set further into Wadi Rum, surrounded by beautiful desert landscapes, unlike some other camps we passed that were closer to the roads and city. If you are looking for a more remote and authentic setting, this is it. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Wild Oryx Camp to anyone visiting Wadi Rum."

"We had a lovely stay. Staff are welcoming and very helpful in every way. Dinner was good (traditional rice cooked in Zarb oven with lamb and chicken options). Breakfast was good as well. The camp site is comfortable, quiet, and clean. Staff are considerate even when it came to the drive to the camp site (they drove gently unlike others that would speed on the bumpy desert track)."

"I absolutely loved my stay at this camp. All the staff were kind and accommodating. The food especially was excellent. I stayed in one of the Martian Tents and it was just so relaxing and beautiful. For the excursion I did the 3 hour jeep ride in the desert, and saw the sunset. A perfect time was had all around. I highly recommend this camp! I will definitely be back inshallah. "
