Very friendly staff (especially Abdullah at the reception ), good buffet variety for breakfast and dinner. We got very nice room upgrade with beautiful city view. Situated a bit outside of tourist part of Petra so more quiet and with nice city view.

The property is a 10 minute drive to Petra entrance, so you probably need a car if you stay here. The pool area was lovely to relax in after lots of walking.

A perfect stay!

If you are visiting Petra this is the perfect place to stay. It’s less than a 5 minute drive to the sight but is conveniently quiet and serene. The food was delicious and perfect after a long day exploring Petra! The beds were extremely comfortable. We had difficulty keeping the AC on all night but apart from that which I’m sure is fixable (we were too tired to phone down and have it sorted). The room was lovely and the view was fabulous. The staff were so attentive.

We spend 4 nights here while exploring Petra and Wadi Rum. Location is great, located by the Kings Way just 3 km from Petra’s visitor centre and easy access from/to Amman and Wadi Rum. Check in was easy and fast, staff is really kind and polite. During all our 4 nights every staff member showed a genuine worry to make sure we were enjoying our time at the hotel. Food is amazing, and I highly recommend paying extra to have dinner buffet included! It’s such a convenience having so much food after a full day exploring Petra and/or Wadi Rum. There are so many variety of food, including several dessert options. Breakfast is also a huge buffet with many options including an egg station. Room was good size, comfortable bed and clean. Shower pressure could be better and water don’t get hot enough during peak time. Pool was closed for maintenance, during winter. There are enough parking spots right in from of the entrance. We met one of the owners, Mr Adel, who is such a nice guy. We talked every night and was a really pleasure meeting him. Overall we had a perfect stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is gorgeous with big spacious rooms. The interior design is unique with rare pieces and thoughtfully integrating the ancient culture within the modern world making it a unique and boutique experience. The local dishes the spiced lamb and rice were exquisite. Mohamed welcomed and helped us during our stay guiding with all the questions I had patiently. Amazing hotel for price paid, nice pool and amenities. Only negative was price of food was relatively high and quality would be better from actual town itself but overall enjoyed our stay here and would certainly return.

As close to perfection as one can get. The staff was amazing. The location of the hotel is spectacular. The restaurant has a wide variety of delicious food. The proximity to Petra was ideal. We really enjoyed our stay at Petra Canyon Hotel! The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very modern and clean with great facilities, such as an outdoor pool and a gym, and there is a great choice of food in the breakfast and dinner buffets. It is only a 5 minute drive from Petra Visitor Centre which made it very convenient to visit daily. Would definitely recommend!

Overall great stay, the staff is very pleasant. Check out the gift shop next to the dining room, the owner had a great personality and was fun to talk to; we bought some incense there. Make sure when checking in that you don't go up the short set of stairs into the doors on the front of the hotel...this is the dining room. The front desk is up the tall stairs to the right when facing the hotel. Good location to Petra, just a short drive away. Would stay here again.

This is a fantastic hotel - great everything! The ONLY complaint (and it's a relatively minor one) is that they only carry NA beer. They're a new hotel, so perhaps this is in the works. However, if this is a conscious decision, I believe it's a big mistake - the Marriott and other hotels/restaurants will be getting some of your dinner crowd. They got our business. Otherwise, again, just a fantastic place - highly recommend!

We received a free upgrade upon arrival, which was nice and appreciated. Our room was clean and very spacious. We ate dinner at the hotel - the service was great! The chef came out to ask if we were happy with everything. He did so again the next morning for our breakfast. I can’t say enough about the service!
