pool water. as always van der Valk is a strongly recommended experience! we traveled a lot and by so far we have never experienced such different positive special spots in each location. even the basic suites are very special. "

"The hotel is a little on the older side, but it is decently maintained and comfortable enough. Rooms are of decent size and the outdoor area with the
pool are a nice place to relax.
The negative thing is the location, if you want to spend time in Breda city center. 30 euros for a taxi each way, and you have to walk quite a bit to get to the closest bus stop.
If you're two or more people in the room it's good that the toilet is in a separate place to the shower. No toilet brush though, so...

"We had the most fantastic night - we are a family of 4 and we stayed in a jungle family room complete with a wonderful bathroom and kids bunk bed with slide. Beds were perfect, room was spotless. We had a swim in the wellness centre which was such a treat after a busy few days at amusement parks. We can’t wait to go back! "

Great room and location
"Great room and location. The reception desk person wasn’t particularly welcoming or helpful (it was the first time I stayed there). I had eaten there before but it was night so I wasn’t at all familiar with the complex. Although I didn’t eat there this time, my prior dinner dining experience was excellent. I didn’t book my room with the breakfast option because the breakfast was way too expensive in relation to the amount I wanted to eat."
